The Chrysalis Retreat came to be when 3 women were inspired to innovate a new kind of yoga retreat - with an integrative, holistic approach where people can work on all aspects of themselves.
We imagined an ideal way to support the transition into a New Year - in a beautiful natural environment, deeply connecting to ourselves through yoga and group workshops, and purifying our systems in preparation for what is to come - supported by a personal process of reflection and inspiration through group learning.
The New Year's retreat is an integral approach to creating a conscious transition into 2017. The retreat activities are based on a foundation of yoga practices and a variety of other modalities to enhance and amplify your vitality.
Through workshops, coaching sessions, movement and meditation, and connection with an inspiring group, you’ll experience a profound container in which to release the old, gain clarity, and make empowered choices as we move into the new year.
We look forward to welcoming both men and women!
Chrysalis Retreat Process
The Chrysalis Retreat provides a gourmet menu from which to design your ideal process for deep nourishment and rejuvenation. We provide a structure and a buffet of optional activities to support all aspects of your being, in alignment with your personal style. All of our retreat ‘ingredients’ have been chosen for their maximum contribution to individual strengthening and development.
You can chose to do one thing a day - or five things! There will be a range of levels of physical movement through different styles of yoga and a range of learning spaces from quiet reflection to highly interactive. Group activities will playfully support and amplify participants’ individual expansion and co-emergence with others.
The Chrysalis Facilitation Team members bring diverse skill sets and professional knowledge to provide tailored individual coaching sessions as part of the week-long retreat and will be sharing a wide variety of integral development opportunities with the group.
Weaving through the week will be the theme of transition, where participants are supported to hold awareness of where in their lives they are letting go. The core activities of the retreat are designed to contribute to individual strength and balance from which to make space for the new.
Additionally, we embrace the possibilities of co-creation within the group members. Participants are invited to contribute to the group learning process and may offer to share a meditation, story or a poem. For participants who might want to lead a group activity, there will be a time made available within the afternoon retreat schedule.
